Flaine is a purpose built resort in the centre of the Grand Massif area. Designed around convenience to the efficient lift network, it is predominantly an apartment resort and car free. Evenings are relaxed here with a few bars and restaurants if you choose to eat out.

The area offers something for all levels with a dedicated experts only sector. There are some limited tree level runs in the linked areas but these are quite low level which could affect snow reliability. This is not a problem higher up where there are fantastic views across to Mont Blanc.
