Zell am See is a resort town on a lake which makes for great views from above. As a year round destination, the town has good facilities with plenty going on. There is an impressive vertical although the neighbouring glacier area of Kaprun is not directly lift linked.

The lower slopes are tree lined providing an escape from the weather higher up in poor conditions. The reverse also applies in light snow cover as Zell is relatively low but this is compensated by the glacier area. The runs are predominantly intermediate with few challenges.
